I like to draw giants of myth, as well, so I'm starting a thread for them, beginning with this young elf.
The young elf had wandered deep into unknown country that seemed to get stranger and stranger the farther he went. The trees seemed to become more and more stunted, more like shrubs than trees. Then he came to an open area, and on the far side of a field, a curious structure, which proved to be a miniature house. Standing near, two tiny figures, understandably frozen in fear.
Imagine a giant merboy -- boy giant to the waist, blue whale the rest of the way. A normal blue whale has a small throat and eats small shrimp, but this boy's throat is capable of bigger meals, and the blue whale's stomach can handle them once they're down there!
Lost at sea has a new meaning when this guy's hungry!
I added a little extra to the giant merboy -- an interior. He swallowed the boat whole with the two sailors in it, who now wonder how long their boat can last. The others.... well, they no longer care.
